Pro Bono Econos visits Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services

Our Executive Director was recently invited to see the work of the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services operating in California. We had the opportunity to help out in sorting donations and arranging items to make the shopping experience pleasant and dignified for people who would come through the next day. 

The human stories told by the staff at the centre were very moving. It is important that as a society we never lose our hearts and our compassion for our fellow humans. Let's do whatever we can within our capacity to make the world a better place.
